Welcome to the official website of the ARVDA also known as the Atlantic Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association. It is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the recreation vehicle industry in Eastern Canada and is associated with the RVDA of Canada. The ARVDA hosts two successful annual RV shows in Halifax and Moncton each spring.

The first annual ARVDA meeting was held in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on April 27, 1997. Derek Dobson was elected at this meeting to be the Charters first President, as well, Wayne Hambly was elected Vice President and Keith Reynolds was elected Secretary Treasurer. At this time the ARVDA consisted of ten charter members.

From 1999 to 2003 Wayne Hambly held the position of President during his term he helped the Atlantic association develop. Throughout this period Nova Scotia became a part of the association this being a great addition to the association. The merging of Nova Scotia to the association was a new beginning. After the amalgamation Wayne Hambly was the first president of the ARVDA as it is today.

The ARVDA and the RVDA of Nova Scotia met in Amherst, Nova Scotia in June 2002 this meeting was held to merge the two associations officially, a mandatory vote took place. The first official meeting of the ARVDA took place on September 2002 in Mill River, Prince Edward Island. With the joining of the two associations the number of dedicated members grew to a new high.
